"WALKER"
RUBISS MULTI BIS WINNER
AUSTRALIAN GRAND CHAMPION
SINGAPORE CHAMPION
SUNNIVA DARTH VADAR ET
"TAKE A WALK ON THE DARK SIDE"

Walker, as he is known to his friends, is a true champion in every sense of the word. Beauty, brains and brawn, he is a complete package. He started his show career at the tender age of 12weeks, winning Best Baby In Show at the Western Australian Dobermann Specialty, under judge Mr Doug Jensen (USA). He then went on to win Best Puppy In Show at the 11th Australian Dobermann National, under judge Mr Adrian Woodfork (USA). Since then, Walker has won several class in group wins and class in show wins. In July 2003, at the Winter Festival 2003, under judge Mrs H Glendinning (CAN), Walker obtained his first Challenge Points, with the comment that "This Boy Is All Male". Since July, he has been a consistant Challenge Dog winner, and Best Of Breed winner. Adrian Landarte (URUGUAY) awarded him Best Of Breed, Runner Up In Group and Junior In Group at the 2003 Perth Royal Show. It took only 4mths for Walker to gain his Australian Championship.
He attended his first interstate show, winning Best Opposite Junior In Show at the New South Wales Dobermann Specialty, under judge Mr Bill Shelton (USA), competing against 8 Junior dogs. This year, 2005, Walker will be training for his Companion Dog and Working Aptitude Exam titles, WISH US LUCK!! On the 18th June 2005, Walker gained his Endurance Test Title, after running 20kms and doing a small obedience routine.
Walker, from our first litter, is also our very first Home Grown Champion and now GRAND Champion, but certainly not our last!!! A big THANK YOU goes to Carla Van Verseveld, of Gelderland Rottweilers, who helps us handle Walker. Walker gained his Championship at the age of 16 months from the Junior Class, handled to perfection by Carla, and when allowed, by Melissa Murray :o)
On the 2nd May 2004, Walker was awarded Best Exhibit In Show at the Utility Dog Club Championship Show, under judge Mrs D Cuthbert from South Australia. The following weekend Walker was awarded Best Exhibit In Show at the Building & Amenities Fund All Breeds Championship Show, under judge Mrs M McArdle from Western Australia. What a great 2 weeks!
August 15th saw Walker again taking Runner Up To Best Exhibit In Show and also receiving some wonderful comments from the Interstate, Overseas and local Judges.
Walker saw out the old year (2005) and heralded in the New Year (2006) with a wonderful Best In Show Win. The Judge was Mavis Cocharan who thought him a wonderful representative of the breed and one of the nicest Dobermanns she had seen in quite some time.
To date, Walker has won the following
1 Runner Up In Specialty Show with an entry of 130 Dobermanns
11 Best In Shows - All Breeds Shows
2 Runner Up To Best In Show - All Breeds Show
5 Runner Up To Best In Groups - All Breeds Shows
Multiple Classes In Group and In Show - All Breeds and Specialty Champ Shows
Walker is also a consistent Best Of Breed winner, and was a first time invitee to the prestigious event "2004 Contest of Winners", winning a total of 2 rounds, before coming up against WA's Top Pedigree Show Dog.
Walker is finishing off 2005 as the Top Male Dobermann, by being invited to the Ultimate Utility Dog Competition (for the top male and female of each breed associated with Group 6 in Western Australia).

Walker's Critiques
Dobermann Club of WA Inc 2002 Specialty Show - (23 Nov 02) Judge: Mr D Jensen (USA)
"Nice forechest on the dog. Nice head, I like the expression on the head. I like the shoulder as it comes down. He is a little rough across the shoulders and may at this point be a little long. He has a nice behaviour about him and seems to enjoy it. He will be a good little show puppy. He has good depth, good tuck up. The colours on the feet are a little blended, should be a little clearer but that may change a little with age."
11th Australian Dobermann National Specialty - (29 Apr 03) Judge: Mr A Woodfork (USA)
"Black dog. 9 ˝ months. At this particular time he’s a little high in the rear but he’s a very nicely balanced dog. He has a beautiful head. Head planes are excellent. Very nice front. Carries himself well. Good temperament. Good maturity. Hopefully he will balance out and not be so high in the rear."
NSW Dobermann Specialty 2003 - (21 Nov 03) Judge: Mr Bill Shelton (USA)
"Beautifully powerful strong dog with beautiful feet, and good bone his bone proportion fits all the rest of him he has a very strong head good quality of underjaw an attractive enough eye could be a bit more almond but good size, good colour good depth of brisket, good coat colour and markings, his tail comes off appropriately from his croup he has beautiful depth, he could be a little square dog but a beautiful masculine dog."
